Estimates only
Every result on this site is an estimate for planning purposes. Material densities, coverage rates, bag yields and waste factors vary by supplier, region, product and conditions. Confirm quantities with your supplier before placing an order, and check the assumptions listed on each calculator page against the figures you have been quoted.
Not professional or structural advice
Nothing on this site is engineering, construction, or legal advice. In particular, calculators touching on footings, beams, joists, spans and load-bearing structure are estimating aids only. Structural work is governed by local building code and, where required, must be designed or reviewed by a licensed professional and permitted before construction. Always call your local utility locating service before you dig.
No warranty
The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We make a genuine effort to get the numbers right and to show our working, but we cannot guarantee that every figure suits your project.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of this site or reliance on its results, including over-ordering, under-ordering, wasted material, delivery charges, project delays or construction defects. Your use of these calculators is at your own risk. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case the narrowest permitted limitation applies.
Third-party links
The site links to retailers and service partners, some through affiliate or referral arrangements. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, pricing, availability, or the products and services they provide. Any transaction is between you and that third party.
Acceptable use
You may use these calculators freely for personal and commercial project planning, including as a contractor quoting work. Please do not scrape the site at volume, republish the calculators or their content wholesale, or misrepresent the results as certified engineering figures.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the date above reflects the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. Questions can go to hello@example.com.
